Studio 46 Biden White House
Converting a small room into multi-functional on-camera space for the Biden presidential campaign.
-
Primate Studio was hired to convert an existing space in the White House into a camera ready space for the Biden campaign by Assembly House.
We faced several challenges. The space is very small, the infrastructure was not designed for broadcasting, the room has limited access with no storage, and allowed for limited modifications.
Our solution allowed for storage in plain sight. The desk becomes side tables or a credenza. The artwork becomes a monitor for supporting graphics or a tight remote interview shot into a digital background. No props or furniture needed to leave the room yet several types of camera shots could be achieved.
Special attention was placed on the historic nature of the site and symbolic importance of pieces and sourcing of materials.
Studio 46B was used to shoot content for social media for the Biden campaign.
